Faith & the Wrestle

7 · Sleeping Giants

People have no idea what it truly, genuinely means to stake your life — what it really means to die daily. I genuinely think even Elon Musk is operating on 0.1 percent of full human capacity. If you really, truly live for and die for living out and acting out the truth of the Bible, I think you can revamp the entire world. And all of that starts with one person. Making vows, staking your life on their perfect execution, repenting every sin you have.

You do not fear. You are audacious in taking initiative. You do the work nobody else is willing to do. You exert transhuman power and influence because you know the truth that all things are possible with Christ, that God is with you at all times, that there is no cap on how much knowledge and data humans can process, how many skillsets humans can bear, how much stress tolerance humans can live out. If you knew that God could give you a 100k-a-month online business, a whopping 50,000 skips a day for six months, reading 200 books ten times each, reading the Bible fifty times, finishing ten university courses, working eight different jobs, getting an S in STEP, full marks on ten A-level papers, hundreds of thousands of hours of backtesting and live trading — and ten times more than that with Christ — the only spirit you need is Christ. The manifestation of human power is so dormant that people have no idea. A massive percentage of humanity will be operating on less than a billionth-to-the-power-of-a-billionth of what they are capable of. Let that truly sink in. You can build ten-trillion-dollar companies, travel to every city, transcend every cap that humanity holds as possible. And it all starts with the smallest, the finest, the tiniest, most minuscule, atomic faith in God.

If God is with you, can you finish the entire A-level modules in three days? Can you finish all STEP past papers with close, deep analysis, going over each and every one ten times, in a week?

It feels almost impossible to break out of your comfort zone. Your entire flesh will incline toward staying where you are, because your parents' house is cozy, life is chill, there is no pressure, life is peaceful — and there is nothing wrong with that. But unless your entire life philosophy is revamped, unless you undertake a radical shift, your life will never have the velocity to jolt onto another path. Unless you project yourself into a situation where you must carry the burden, and create those milestones, life will never shift violently. People can handle crazy levels of pain and suffering; it's just that humanity in general is wired to avoid resistance. We need that pull from above to assist the wilful push — and that is faith. The pull holding your hand through the darkness.

Abraham Maslow once said that what one can be, one must be. And this is so biblically accurate. God gives circumambulations — allegedly serendipitous manifestations of the ideal within the soul, synchronised slides of the futures you'll have a probability of chasing. You must stake everything to bring them to life, and I do believe that. When someone looks at every thought, every action you undertake — can they say instantaneously that it will happen?

1 Thessalonians 5:6: "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober." Stay awake, G.
